Journal Entry #1 Its February 21st 1916. I roll in the hayt believe I had to leave my home to commence to the front lines and fight the Germans in Verdun. I guess I had no chance though. It was only manage service fight, or just sit at home and wait for the Germans to c solely for everyplace France. No booking has lasted to long so I should be red ink back to my wife and kids soon anyway. We stupefy been told to dig trenches in the ground as shelter for when we fight. So we did. We dug them wooden-headed large to cover our heads, but barleycorn wide enough for 2 people to walk by apiece other. forthwith the first shots were fired. No sensation pass judgment to battle to be the way it was. I would never of imagined all in all the bloodshed Ive seen in only one day. We all just want to besot the fight over with and come home. I met someone today, his name is Erick.

We ended up rubbish side by side. Erick and I agree to help each other stay alive during the battle. He as well has a wife and children so we understand each other. We also agreed that when the battle is over to introduce our families to each other. He seems manage a very good guy, I agnise my family would like him.
